About Stop The Suffering

Stop the Suffering is a non profit organization that consists of dedicated VOLUNTEERS who devote their time, talent and treasures to legally freeing innocent cats and dogs that are about to be euthanized for no reason, other than lack of space, and places these animals into loving homes, foster homes and safe havens.

All donated items and funds go DIRECTLY to saving the lives of homeless animals. Stop the Suffering exists for the sole purpose of rescuing dogs and cats from any shelter that is about to euthanize them. Their main work is in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin, but some dedicated volunteers have traveled far beyond these regions to save the lives of animals in need.

Please help us to make a difference not just in the life of the animal, whose life is spared, but also in the life of the person who takes in the animal as well! Dogs and cats dramatically improve the lives of the elderly, physically and mentally ill, shut-ins, special needs children and more!
